MomentM AI is building an AI-native engineering platform where agents drive design, simulation, optimization, and Physics AI end to end. We work with engineering teams to take a design from a natural-language brief to an optimized, verified result, faster than traditional workflows allow.
About the role
You will build the AI systems at the core of our platform: agents that take an engineer's intent, break it into simulation tasks, call the right tools, and return results an engineer can trust. The work sits between applied LLM engineering and real physics software.
What you'll do
- Design and ship agentic workflows that plan, execute, and verify engineering simulations.
- Build tool-calling interfaces between language models and solvers, meshers, and post-processors.
- Evaluate agent behaviour with task-level benchmarks and close the gaps you find.
- Work with simulation engineers to encode domain knowledge into prompts, tools, and guardrails.
- Own features end to end, from prototype to production monitoring.
What you bring
- 2–5 years building production software, with at least one year on LLM or ML systems.
- Strong Python and solid software engineering habits (testing, typing, code review).
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, tool use, or agent frameworks.
- Comfort reading engineering or scientific code you did not write.
Nice to have
- Background in mechanical, aerospace, or another engineering discipline.
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation or fine-tuning.
- Familiarity with MCP or similar tool protocols.
